Kavita Ramdas is an inspirational and mindful leader, an advocate for human rights, open and civil societies, and a respected advisor and commentator on issues of social entrepreneurship, development, women's leadership, education, health, and philanthropy. Ramdas has spent her professional life shaping a world where gender equality can help ensure human rights and dignity for all. She challenges us to take a look at our blind spots as current and future educators, administrators, and policy makers seeking to provide a global education.

Ramdas, former president and CEO of the Global Fund for Women, is currently senior advisor to the Global Fund as well as visiting practitioner at the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University visiting fellow at the Center for Democracy, Development, and the Rule of Law in the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies at Stanford University, and visiting practitioner at Stanford's Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society.
