EOP Mandatory Advising Workshop

Register NowThe EOP Mandatory Advising Workshop is a university-wide program designed for all EOP students that have yet to reach junior status (i.e., 60 unit requirement). The mission of the EOP Advising Workshops is to assist students to successfully navigate through the university system and graduate from CSUDH.

The Advising Workshops will include general advisement, accurate course selection and registration, and helpful online tools such as their Degree Progress Reports. Workshops will also include information about university policies and procedures as well as referrals for important campus resources.

In order to have the EOP hold removed and to register for fall 2011 courses, students must fulfill the EOP Advising Workshop requirement. One-time attendance at this workshop is required for all EOP students. In addition, students are required to review their To Do List on their My.CSUDH.EDU account to determine other holds that may be impeding the registration process (i.e., Department Hold, Financial Aid Hold, and Academic Probation Hold). Such holds must be removed before attending the workshop to ensure access to the registration system.

Information regarding EOP Advising Workshops is emailed to students; therefore, it is extremely important that students check their e-mail accounts on a regular basis.

Again, please note that you will not be able to register for fall 2011 courses until you fulfill the EOP Mandatory Advising Workshop requirement.
