Leo F. and Margaret B. Cain-Emeritus Faculty Association Scholarship
| Description | Awarded to an outstanding CSUDH undergraduate or graduate student currently enrolled at CSUDH pursuing a degree in a public service field. |
| Amount | $1,000 - $2,500 |
| Requirements | Demonstrate excellent academic performance and career commitments to teaching or academic research, educational administration, or other types of public service. Preference is given to full-time graduate students |
| How To Apply | Students must complete a separate application. Applicants must submit the following with their scholarship application: Transcripts, two letters of recommendation, and personal statement. Dr. Lois W. Chi-Emeritus Faculty Association Science Scholarship
| Description | Awarded to currently enrolled CSUDH undergraduate or graduate students pursuing a degree in biology, chemistry, or closely related field in the biomedical sciences. Preference is given to full-time undergraduate students majoring in a natural science. |
| Amount | $1,000 - $2,500 |
| Requirements | Minimum of 3.0 GPA. Need for financial assistance. Must be pursuing a degree in biology, chemistry, or related natural science field. |

CSU Future Scholars
| Description | 30 renewable scholarships awarded to entering disadvantaged freshman or transfer students. |

Claudia Hampton Endowed Scholarship
| Description | Renewable scholarship, awarded to first-time CSUDH freshman graduating from a California high school. |
| Amount | $4,000 |
| Requirements | Must be entering CSUDH as a first-time freshman, a graduate from a California high school, eligible for financial aid, and must demonstrate enthusiasm for a university education. In addition to completing the separate application, eligible students must submit on a separate sheet that answers the following two questions in an essay, not to exceed 500 words: 1. What are your career and educational plans for the future? 2. How will this scholarship help you fund your education? |

Yvonne Brathwaite Burke Scholarship
| Description | Awarded to a full-time CSUDH student majoring in Public Administration, Criminal Justice Administration, Labor Studies, Economics or Political Science. |

| Requirements | • Must be enrolled as a full-time student enrolled at CSUDH. • Minimum of 3.0 GPA. • Majoring in Public Administration, Criminal Justice Administration, Labor Studies, Economics or Political Science. • Resident of the County of Los Angeles. • Demonstrate community involvement related to improving opportunities for children, encouraging economic development, or improving transportation in LA. |

Anne Peters Memorial Scholarship
| Description | Awarded every Spring semester to students pursuing studies in Sociology, Labor Studies or Interdisciplinary Studies. |

| Requirements | Must be a Sociology major or minor, Labor Studies student, or Interdisciplinary Studies major. |

Graduate Equity Fellowships
| Description | Awarded by the CSUDH Graduate Studies Office to graduate students with strong academic records and financial need; renewable for two years. |
| Amount | Up to $5,600 |
| Requirements | Must be accepted into a CSUDH graduate program, have a faculty sponsor, and commit to a research project. |

Carol Tubbs Dance Scholarship
| Requirements | This scholarship was established for students who: Have declared a major in Theatre Arts with a Dance Option; have taken an active role in Dance Program Activities; have been recognized by the faculty as a versatile performer or scholar who can perform in many styles of dance and in varied performance venues; have demonstrated commitment to the Dance Program and Dance Productions, provide an example of positive leadership; strong work ethic, and incomparable dedication. All students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 in order to be considered. This application is for all students who will be enrolled full-time in the Dance Option in a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing in the 2012-2013 school year. |

Yvonne Brathwaite Burke Foster Youth Scholarship
| Requirements | Current foster youth living in Los Angeles County; must be entering CSUDH as a first-time freshman, eligible for financial aid; minimum cumulative high school GPA of 2.5. |
| How To Apply | Students must complete a separate application, submit a copy of a document that indicates you are a foster youth residing in the Los Angeles County and attach an essay (200 words maximum) explaining how this scholarship would help your educational and career goals and how you plan to contribute back to society after you graduate from CSUDH. |

Breedlove Family Scholarship
| Description | This scholarship was established in 2004 by the Breedlove Family as a way of supporting the education of deserving students. The Breedlove Family has a long legacy that values and supports academic achievement. Scholarships are awarded based on financial need, academic standing and in a specific discipline. |

| Description | Five scholarships are awarded annually to high school graduates and community college transfer students. |
