Application Checklist

STEP 1: Gather the following for your application

  • Your official transcripts from all institutions attended
  • Application fee of $55 (check, money order or credit card) *

*No fee is required if you qualify for a fee waiver. California residents from a low income family for whom the application fee would be an undue financial hardship may qualify for an application fee waiver. The application fee waiver may be requested when applying online at CSUMentor. Submitting the requested information at the time of application will expedite the processing of the application fee waiver request.

STEP 2: Complete the application

Apply and pay the $55 application fee online at CSUMentor.

If you did not pay online though CSUMentor, please send a $55 (U.S.) non-refundable application fee payable to "CSU Dominguez Hills" and send it to:

Cashier's Office
CSU Dominguez Hills
1000 E. Victoria Street
Carson, CA 90747, USA

Important: Include the following information on your check: name of student, student's date of birth, and/or the application confirmation number (sent with your email confirmation when you successfully complete and submit your online application).

STEP 3: Send us your official transcripts

Note: Indicating your Intent to Enroll is required to attend New Student Orientation, apply for Housing, receive mandatory academic advisement, and register for classes.

STEP 6: Apply now for financial aid

To apply, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online. Do not wait until you are admitted to the University to apply for financial aid. The earlier you apply, the better chance you have that funds will be available.

STEP 7: Meet the immunization requirements

Students who attended California public high schools after July 1, 1999 have met this requirement.
