CSU Dominguez Hills is dedicated to offering its students a world of opportunity through innovative programs and an emphasis on "communiversity." The Student Support Services Program (SSS) offers 160 first-generation, low-income, or disabled students a wide network of support services that help ensure academic and personal success in college. Designed to increase the retention and graduation rates for underrepresented students who are admitted and enrolled at CSUDH, the program also strives to enhance participants' potential for graduation and professional schools.
SSS is funded by the U.S. Department of Education and is administered by the Division of Enrollment Management & Student Affairs and the CSUDH Foundation. SSS is part of the federally funded TRIO programs, educational opportunity programs that help disadvantaged students overcome environmental, cultural, and academic barriers to higher education.
