Counseling
Receive personal needs and academic counseling. Counselors also provide assistance with course selection, graduation requirements, and information regarding graduate/professional schools.
Tutoring
If you need extra help with your course work, we offer tutoring in a variety of subjects and provide referrals to other tutorial resources on campus.
Peer Advisement
Get first-hand tips for navigating college life from students just like yourself.
Computer Lab
Access our state-of-the art computer lab with opportunities for word processing, research on the internet, email retrieval and assessment.
Co-curricular Events
Enjoy the benefits of participating in culturally enriching activities outside of the classroom! Activities are planned each semester and may include trips to cultural events, entertainment and theme parks, theater productions and conferences that enhance the college experience.
Workshops and Student Development
Take advantage of workshop instruction to improve basic skills in reading, writing, and math as well as other courses. The program requires participants to enroll in Personal, Social & Intellectual Development (SBS-101), a course designed to help participants grow and thrive at the university.
Introduction to Campus Resources
We will make sure you are introduced to all the campus resources available to you. This includes library services, Financial Aid, Student Development, Student Life, the A.S.I. and other administrative and support services that are vital to student success.
