Apply to Upward Bound
To apply to the Upward Bound Program, just follow the simple steps below. If you have questions, please contact us so we can answer any questions you have.
Step 1: Check Your Eligibility
If you attend Carson, Compton, or Gardena High School and you meet our other eligibility requirements, you're ready to move on to Step 2.
Step 2: Complete the Upward Bound Application
Print out and complete the application below. You may also pick up an application at our office or at your high school (usually the school counseling office or main office). PDF: [Get Acrobat Reader Free Here]
Step 3: Gather Your Supporting Documents
You'll need to gather the following documents to complete your application:
- Copy of your Social Security Card
- High School transcript
- A form of income verification (this may include taxes, W-2, Notice of Action, or a check stub)
Step 4: Submit your completed application and supporting documentation
Once you've completed your application and gathered your supporting documentation, you can submit all of your documents in one of two ways:
